ST. LOUIS – The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency opened its new campus in St. Louis Sept. 26. The cutting-edge facility is a modern and collaborative workspace in support of NGA’s dynamic and evolving national security mission.

NGA Director VADM Frank Whitworth hosted the ceremony and was joined by the Hon. Tulsi Gabbard, director of national intelligence, and the Hon. Brad Hansel, principal deputy under secretary of war for intelligence and security. Speakers included Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe, St. Louis Mayor Cara Spencer, Chair of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Rep. Rick Crawford, Rep. Ann Wagner, Rep. Wesley Bell and former Senator Roy Blunt. The event marked the culmination of years of planning and investment in a facility poised to help transform the geospatial landscape for the next 100 years.

"This state-of-the-art facility is a critical investment in our nation's security. From this campus, our dedicated workforce will continue to deliver vital GEOINT that protects our nation and supports our warfighters around the world,” Whitworth remarked.

Located at the corner of Jefferson and Cass Avenues, the new NGA campus anchors a growing geospatial ecosystem from the heart of north St. Louis. The workforce will begin its transition to the new space this winter, with transition expected to conclude by spring of 2026. This world-class facility will provide NGA employees with advanced resources and collaboration spaces, enhancing their ability to deliver critical intelligence and geospatial innovations in support of NGA’s mission needs.
