NGA enables the U.S. intelligence community and the Department of Defense to fulfill the president’s national security priorities to protect the nation.

The agency is headquarted in Springfield, Virginia with two major locations in St. Louis, Missouri and Arnold, Missouri. NGA's Tearline

NGA sponsors Tearline.mil, a congressionally supported publication platform that features unclassified geospatial intelligence from academic and non-profit contributors using open research and commercial imagery. The project supplies open-source intelligence to grow authoritative reports for NGA, federal partner agencies, and general public usage to support and assist in the agency's mission.
