NGA hosts second Persons with Disabilities Showcase and Recruitment Hiring Event

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency hosts its second Persons with Disabilities Showcase and Recruitment Hiring Event, August 24.

The event is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at NGA’s Springfield, Virginia headquarters.

Eligible (see below for eligibility criteria) individuals need to submit their resume to PWDProgram@nga.mil with the subject “PWD2018” by July 20.

Eligibility criteria:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Schedule A (physician certified)
  • Veterans with disabilities rating of 30% or higher

“Through hiring events like this one, NGA provides an opportunity for individuals with disabilities to interview for current and future positions at NGA,” said Ian Zearfaus, talent acquisition lead.

Attendees will receive an overview of NGA and participate in interview and networking sessions throughout the day. Participation in this event does not guarantee that the applicant will secure employment at NGA.
