DISES/DISL Vacancies
Executive Resources at NGA include members of the Defense Intelligence Senior Executive Service (DISES) and Defense Intelligence Senior Level (DISL) employees. NGA DISES positions are managerial positions, allocated to NGA by the Department of Defense (DOD), which are classified above the Band 5/GS-15 level. DISES positions are characterized by emphasis on organization or program management responsibilities. DISES positions are the DOD Intelligence Community equivalent to SES positions. NGA DISL positions are technical or scientific positions, allocated to NGA by DOD, which are classified above the Band 5/GS-15 levels. DISL positions are characterized by emphasis on functional expertise and have no more than minimal supervisory responsibilities (less than 25 percent). DISLs are recognized leaders and authorities in a specialized field or functional area. DISL positions are the DOD Intelligence Community equivalent to SL positions.

Director, GEOINT Enterprise Directorate/Series IE-0132: Incumbent executes Functional Management duties to achieve improved operational and resource alignment across the 34-member enterprise of GEOINT practitioners and users in the U.S. federal government and among the other four sovereign nations who partner with the U.S. on GEOINT operations in the international domain.

Deputy Director, GEOINT Enterprise Directorate/Series IE-0132: Assists the Director, GEOINT Enterprise Directorate manage subordinate organizations in the effective and efficient support to customer requirements. Incumbent supports execution of functional management roles to lead the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG), comprised of NGA and over 30 DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), and federal civilian agencies, as well as international partners in the Allied System for Geospatial Intelligence (ASG).

Deputy Associate Director for Enterprise/Series IE-0132: Serves as the Deputy Associate Director for Enterprise charged with enabling the GEOINT Functional Manager’s leadership, execution of functional management authorities, and influence associated with the National System of Geospatial Intelligence (NSG), the Allied System for Geospatial Intelligence (ASG), and the Global Geospatial Intelligence Enterprise (GGE).
